Controller
Position Responsibilities: Direct preparation of all accounting and reporting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Senior tax Accountant
General responsibilities: -Prepare corporate federal, state, and local income tax returns and other miscellaneous tax filings in multiple jurisdictions. Prepare federal, state and local tax compliance filings including returns, quarterly estimates, and extensions for accuracy and ensure that all are filed timely. Assume responsibility for state tax projects including state apportionment calculations and maintaining the tax compliance calendar. Assist tax manager with audit preparation and special projects. CPA preferred. -Research skills and understanding of tax statutory and regulatory framework. -Strong accounting, technical and analytical skills. -Ability to identify problem areas and suggest solutions. -Must multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. -Possess leadership and communication skills as well as the confidence and ability to work and make decisions independently. -Manages own workload and works with minimal supervision. -Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook and familiarity with Oracle accounting software. -Proficient in RIA InSource Express RS and skilled in utilizing tax research software.
