PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (Preference or Requirement): P: 2 - 8 years experience P: Broad federal tax experience P: MBA and/or CPA P: Big 4 CPA or large company experience P: Corp ETF system experience a plus     DUTIES: * 30-35% supporting company’s real estate group. In this capacity functioning as the group’s tax advisor ensuring they understand the tax implications of their business decisions while also providing them with alternative structures that allow them to meet their objectives. * 40% overseeing the completion of the federal tax return and the completion of all provision calculations and documentation. * 30-35% overseeing a variety of research projects including the federal audits and year-end reviews. * Able to provide the tax Director with strategy, recommend courses of action, etc. * Work with federal tax accounting and filing matters (including FAS 109 and FIN 48) as the position is responsible for all federal compliance and provision calculations as well as acting as a business consultant/partner with the company’s real estate group. * Duties will include oversight/management of the federal return process, year-end and quarterly provision calculations, federal audits as well as the preparation and drafting of position papers regarding transactions and law changes.
